Penganan, or mostly known as Dodol, is usually a main dish during celebrations. This traditional food is the end product of a mixture of coconut milk, glutinous rice flour, palm sugar and brown sugar or granulated sugar.
Heat a pot with a low heat. Put in the coconut milk and stir slowly but continuously. Then add in the glutinous rice flour and stir. Next, add in the palm sugar and brown sugar or granulated sugar according to one’s own choice. Stir continuously until the mixture thickens and cooked.
