Pinasakan (Pinaasakan or Pinarasakan) is a traditional food of the Kadazandusun ethnic and well known in Sabah. The ingredients are sardine cooked with bambangan (a traditional fruit in the mango fruit family), takob-takob or garcinia cambogia, turmeric powder and salt. This food can be kept for days.
