Laksa Kuala Kangsar is a well known traditional cuisine in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. It is so named in conjunction with the area that pioneered this specialty of the Malay community. This laksa is normally served at wedding ceremonies and during Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.
The ingredients are noodle from wheat flour, fish flesh, dried chilies, garlic, red onion, ginger flower, the kesum leaf, garcinia cambogia, salt and an adequate amount of water. For garnishing slices of cucumber and large onions are used as well as chilies.
